Charlie Ayoub, Operations Manager
Qualified Fletcher Pilates® Teacher

Charlie is Ottawa's first and only male to achieve the level of Qualified Fletcher Pilates® Teacher, having completed the Ron Fletcher Program of Study® Comprehensive Program in 2009. He began a serious study of Pilates in 2003 and received his Matwork Certificate in 2005 from The Studio Pilates, Toronto. Charlie's diverse fitness background in Wing Chun Kung Fu and as a YMCA Certified Personal Trainer naturally prepared him for his journey into becoming a Pilates teacher.

Charlie felt the negative effects on his body and mind from working 10 years at a 9 to 5 office job and he immediately felt the benefits of a continuous Pilates practice. He is currently focused on working with people who have discomfort caused by postural imbalances and a weak core, helping them to achieve more body awareness, strength, flexibility and comfort.

Among his other studies, Charlie graduated from the Business Administration Program at Algonquin College with a major in Information Systems. By combining his interests in Business, Technology and Fitness, Charlie was instrumental in the Pilates Space's third and largest expansion in January 2008. Charlie was chosen by Lululemon to be their 2008/2009 Pilates Ambassador.
